CABC presentation evening proved another success this year despite being hit by the holiday season.

For the second year running it proved a successful night for Dean Porter. Deano's exciting season saw him retain the accolade of Club Champion whilst also securing Best Junior Boxer of the season. The club also took the opportunity to aknowledge his achievement of winning an Eastern Counties title by presenting him with a commemorative plaque. The trophy was sponsored by WarriorBoxing.com to whom the club would like to give a special thank you!

The award for Best Senior Club Member was jointly won by Gareth Levine and Zena Stevens. Although he never competed this season "Gruff" fulfilled many roles throughout and continues to be an assett to the club. Zena in her first season with CABC is also on the committee and has done many jobs in the background to ensure the club continues to go forwards.

Most Improved trophy was taken by Niamh Barton in her first season with the club. Niamh's boxing has developed very quickly and she may soon go on to become the club's first female representative.

"Jerzy" Dudek captured the award for Best Senior Prospect and is working hard towards making his debut in the coming season,  as is Junior recipriant Daniel Jones. Both are now being carded for the coming campaign.

Following his first season in competition, James Cook won the award for Best Junior Club Member. Jamie will be leaving us soon having joined the Royal Armoured Corps. Jamie has made great progress since joining the club and has developed into a mature and reliable young man. We hope he has enjoyed his time with the club and wish him all the very best for the future. I hope his time with us will stand him in good stead in his times ahead and we're sure he'll do well in his chosen career.

The trophy of Best Senior Boxer went to Club Captain Dom McGurl. Dom had a somewhat stop/start season but managed to lose only one contest on his travels. Despite being the most senior member of the team, his continued improvement and desire have given him the desire to have one more season before he hangs up his gloves. We all hope he can go out on a high by leading the club in a successful season for all concerned.

Senior Stalwart Shaun Mansell and last year's Senior Prospect Mo Khan recieved awards commemorating representing the club this season, and both look forward to greater success next season.
