Down But Not Out for Reuben

In an exiting return to the ring Reuben Gahan of Colchester Amateur Boxing Club took on John Harmer of the St Mary’s ABC Kent at the Western Homes Community Stadium on Friday night. The bout stood out amongst many other good bouts on the show run by Harwich ABC.

Two Out of Three and a Long Awaited Return

It was a busy weekend for Colchester Amateur Boxing Club attending the Cheshunt ABC show on Friday night and the Burton Park ABC show on Saturday night. At Cheshunt Christopher “CJ” Knibbs faced Francie O’Donnell from the home club and Mason Jupp faced Owen Roberts also from Cheshunt ABC. Louis Thew and Cameron Mathews travelled further afield on Saturday to Burton Latimer Northhampton. Cameron returned to the ring in a skills bout against Ryan Allen from Hull Saints ABC and Louis faced local boxer Bradley Harris.

Mixed Fortunes for Jacks

CABC's two Jacks were in action on Saturday, Jack Perry boxing on the Hoddesdon Show whilst Jack Karadzic travelled to Basildon.

Colchester Amateur Boxing Club members “Gorgeous” George Bird and CJ “The Bulldog” Knibbs made the trip up to Yarmouth to box local boxers on the Kingfisher Amatuer Boxing Club’s dinner show last Wednesday. CJ opened the show against Josh Mace whilst George boxed Billy Potter.
